I've had to run the pullets into the coop every night since they moved outside. Tonight, they were all in their house, so I thought all was good when I locked the pop door. I go around and peek in the window. Normally they are all piled on the 18-inch-high roost, right in front of the window. Tonight, four are on the 36-inch-high roost and the biggest of them all, one of the silver-laced Wyandottes, is on the 18-inch bar yelping and trying to fly up. After watching her try a dozen or so times, I gave her a boost up. All is good for the night ...
