Go to your local gun store for sure. They should know all the classes happening in the area. Also check your local newspaper for classes.

Also you can get a free year membership with the NRA is you want. The free magazine is nice. Phone numbers to give the NRA: I gave them our real one in an email saying that my husband works nights and if one person calls it willbe the end of our relationship with the NRA. That was 6 years ago and no one has called - if someone wakes up hubby it could be dangerous for him at work ... tired and big nasty machines do not go well together. Most people just give a fake number.
