nicequality silkies are ALWAYS gorgeous

I would have zero issues with paying that for quality birds. I'd love to have silkies, but we're in Indiana and I don't know much about their cold tolerability.

I'm in VT and I breed them, and I'd think our winters are at least as bad as yours. They do fine in the cold

How are everybody's eggs doing? I'm going to be doing the one week candle on my cemani eggs and the two week candle on my duck eggs tonight or tomorrow.

I might candle mine tonight. they are about two weeks along.

I canceled mine today that went in on 8/12. 2 were Yolkers, a few were obviously going strong, but I have a few that I'm still questioning. There's an air cell, but the egg had a lot of calcium in it, plus the egg is a darker brown. It's really hard to see any blood lines. I'm hopeful tho!

I'm just nervous because I upped my humidity for my one hatch anyday now.

Mine are doing well do you breed the cemanis too? I've always wanted 1 or 2 but never would pay the price green fire was asking for them

Thanks! I have two thermometers that are giving me different readings and my humidify won't stay put. This is the part that's frustrating....

ugh I hate that. that's why i switched to an incutherm plus i believe its called. its from incubator warehouse. thing is freakin AMAZING
