For the striped chicks, they could all be Speckled Sussex, Brown Leghorn, Welsummer, or Cream Legbar.

The white dots on Speckled Sussex can show up early or later.
The other three can show dots and patterns while they are young.
The crest on Cream Legbar may not have grown yet.
Cream Legbars are supposed to have white barring, but I sometimes have trouble seeing it (less obvious on brown shades than on black chickens.)

Sussex are supposed to have white legs, and the other three are supposed to have yellow legs-- but I have trouble determining leg color on chicks in photographs, and some hatcheries have birds with wrong leg color, so I'm not placing much weight on this.


I'll give my best guess on each of them, but I'm listing the reasons it might be wrong, so you can take those into account.

Yellow feet, so I'm guessing Brown Leghorn or Welsummer.

The last two are Dark Brahmas.

Did you order a specific number of each breed? Sometimes that helps in sorting out the confusing ones. (Although in this case, I think the striped ones are just going to stay confusing for a while longer.)

I know Orpington, cream leg bar, dark brahma and wheaten maran. It is welsummer, speckled Sussex and brown leghorn I’m having issue figuring out which is which.

That makes sense.

So you've got 5 chicks from those 3 breeds?

I think I only spotted one with white feet, and it also had white tips on some feathers, so it's probably Speckled Sussex.

I don't think there is any good way to tell the Brown Leghorns and Welsummers apart at this age. Some of the striped chicks seem overall darker than others, and I think I see two each way, so you might have two each of those breeds. I think I see slightly larger combs on the lighter-colored ones, so they might be Brown Leghorns. But darker/lighter can occur in either breed, and I might be imagining the difference in comb, so I'm not really sure.

Leghorn/Welsummer differences that occur as they get older:
--larger comb (Leghorn)
--heavier body (Welsummer)
--white earlobes (Leghorn) vs. red earlobes (Welsummer)
--lays white eggs (Leghorn) vs. lays brown eggs (Welsummer)
