Black copper marans hen. Roosters don't get this pattern--in any breed.

If it is a hen, she has a very strong and loud crowing.

Agree looks like a point of lay black copper Marans pullet. They get huge combs like that. Can’t tell in the photo but are there feathered legs?

No feathers on the very dark legs.

Could we get better pictures of comb, wattle, and tail? It might possibly be a hen

Had to find another home for him after he started crowing. A promise to the neighbors. Only photo I was given of him, sorry.

I was referring to the one on the bottom. Was the OP asking about the blue hen?

Thought I asked about the rooster with brown feathers. Blue hen doesn’t have any brown feathers.
