Brave breed

Are magpies predators? I thought they were scavengers. I don't think they would actually hurt an adult chicken.

The crows and ravens don't really protect chickens, but they will attack hawks and other raptors in their territory.
They've gotten quite close to seriously harming them, my speckled Sussex has a quite a few scabs on her comb, which I can only assume is from the magpie as her other companions are a bantam and a small silkie.

I'm wondering if any of you know a brave breed of chicken, one that is aggressive to predators but isn't too aggressive with other chickens or people.
Not looking for a rooster as we would get noise complaints and we are currently not wanting chicks
Malays have that quality, but they tend to be bossy to other chickens. Orange fluffy cats look like foxes to my birds, & they'll follow behind, & stalk them with their heads low determining whether, or not to attack it.
