I am in Boise, Idaho and I need some RIR fertile eggs. I can trade fertile Barred Plymouth Rock eggs or I am willing to purchase as well.

Hey jjparke, Do you know of a chickenstock in idaho or anywhere where us Idaho peeps can talk about chickens? I am really new to the whole chicken thing and would like to get with some people that have been raising them for awhile. Thanks!

Sweet a fellow Idahoan! BYC is actually a very good resource. When I have questions this is where I turn. You can search the posts for particular subjects. I am fairly new as well. My chickens are only 9 months old and I did a batch of meatbirds last summer. Or if you like you can just email me and I will give you my phone number. I love chicken chat!. Do you guys have a Zamzows over in Mountain Home? They seem to know quite a bit there too. Hope to hear back from ya.
