Im in Boise, we are lucky, there weather has been mild a few rain sprits here and there..... the chickens are sooo happy. I tell them, live it up girls.... once the spring garden is planted they will be forced to stay in their coop/run. its sad, but hey i need to feed my family too.

Here in south east Idaho it it rained yesterday and today it is really muddy. But I let the birds out for probably the first time all year.

Does any one have an americana rooster in the south eastern Idaho area that I could buy? I need one or two to use to get a bunch of chicks to sale. Thanks, I would like 2 but one would do.

dustponds10, I don't have an americana (easter egger) rooster, but I do have a spare blue orpington. If you are producing easter egger chicks he would work as easter eggers are a mix anyway. His offspring would lay brown or green depending on the hens.
