Oh, for crying out loud!! If only to be closer to Caldwell...... Sheesh!!

Big thanks to Michelle today for her birds and for taking the time to walk around and talk 'chicken'. Really enjoyed the day and love the birds!

ya that is one reason I left early I have always loved pigeons but not quite set up yet for them so thought I better leave before I was tempted :) What kind did you end up with they had a nice variety

Also need to say thanks to Birdguy for the beautiful blue orp pullet I also got from him... Wow, she is pretty, I really, really like those blue feathers... Will post pics=) They're in quarantine now, so patience=)

Hey Mesha! It was great to meet you. About an hour after you left, however, I ended up in the ER! One of my horses bumped a feed bucket up into my face which knocked me down and lacerated my eyelid. I was a bloody mess. Ended up with 5 stitches and my left eye swollen shut. Good grief! LOL

Holy cow Michelle!! So sorry to hear that!! I've been at work these past few days and haven't been on the computer, I hope you are healing up well, sheesh!

Covered up the garden last night with the frost warning we had, but when I drove to work , it didn't look like it had frozen, as much as I like the weather cooling off, I'm not quite ready to tuck everything in for winter yet, still have to finish the coop expansion at my mom's place... but we're making good progress...
