Idaho?

Really Rocky Mountain power?......phone says -17 and the power was out last night, AGAIN!!
I'm glad I don't have an incubator going right now, but last time the power was out, half of my chicks froze. I'm scared to look....

Okay...it got down to -18 .....and our pipes froze. My husband forgot to put the heater in the pump house. I hope all my babies are okay out there.

I found my rooster frozen under the coop last night when I went to put everybody in. He was fine an hour earlier. The thermometer in my Jeep said -26 this morning and there's still school. Glad I'm homeschooling, I do NOT want to be out there longer than I have to!

Very sorry for the loss of your rooster! It's hard

Ive been in contact with the office in Boise, waiting on an an email for instructions on where to get the supplies for the testing. From my understanding once I have those they will get me in contact with the local inspector to set up a time for them to come test my birds and inspect my brooding and coop faciliites.
