Or maybe this would be a perfect opportunity to get to know your neighborsBeautiful! I love that last photo you captured.
Yeah I am looking for hatching eggs since a Silkie has gone broody. She is on day 3 and no luck braking her yet so I figured I might try looking around. Craigslist has been a bust. I know we have neighbors that do but I don't know them well so I thought it might be strange if I go down and ask them. Though I did purchase some pullets last summer from them... but they had a sign up. Currently they have no signs up or ads.

Their chickens may not be laying right now. Mine haven't laid an egg in probably 3 weeks. That's with supplemented light.Yes! I finally asked and they said because of the weather they do not have hatching eggs - unsure what that means but they didn't have any to give or sell.![]()
I have gotten chicks from Dunlap. Good quality chicks just one word of caution; if you know how to sex chicks sex them yourself especially black or white chicks. They have told me they are not 100% accurate with Black and White chicks. They say they can sex other chicks.Just a question. Has anyone gotten chicks from Dunlap? And have pictures(Bantam Cochins, and silkies)?
I was curious if anyone knew the law on Poultry and Ada County?
All I can find is Boise information. I am figuring that wont be the same since the dog laws are different in the county then city.
Just curious so I know my stuff for sure, though it's been years of owning them in this neighborhood now. We were the last to get them. We live in a neighborhood that is over 50yrs old. No HOA at all. Each house is on a half acre and everyone has well over 20+ birds along with a ton of roos. Our neighborhood sounds awesome in the morning, haha. Along with horses, goats, sheep.
