Idaho?

Hi, Have to go to the map and look up Star! Lol
It's outside of boise a ways. :) Around 20 minutes. Farming community although they have a chicken ban oddly enough. No one follows it but..yeah. And my neighbors are real pricks, so I have to be careful- they make threats a lot, but they are also out of compliance so if they report us we report them too.

Hi! I am flying in on the fifteenth and am looking for someone who is near Idaho Falls to get a dozen unwashed and unrefrigerated eggs from to take hiking.
Is there anyone who can help me? I am driving that night through Driggs to Teton Village and Jenny lake where I will be the sixteenth prior to heading into the back country.

I've got a question. I don't know if I'm in city limits or not. How do you know?

When we moved into our place in Nampa we got a card from the post office saying that we were considered rural and how rural postal service meant we could by stamps and envelopes from our mail-person. Does that lean towards us living outside city limits? I have a surprise cockerel and was just wondering. We don't live in an HOA, so if we are considered outside city limits then I think we can keep him legally (But I still have plans in place to keep him quieter and stay on good terms with my neighbors).

Idaho is a northwestern U.S. state known for mountainous landscapes, and vast swaths of protected wilderness and outdoor recreation areas. The capital, Boise, is set in the Rocky Mountain foothills and is bisected by the Boise River, which is popular for rafting and fishing. The city’s riverfront Julia Davis Park is a downtown green space containing a rose garden, museums and a zoo.

Someone did their research! Well done! Despite being known as the City of Tree's, we are actually very much a desert climate and this summer has been exceptionally hot and dry! My girls aren't enjoying it much! My mom was an Aussie from Melbourne! I have an aunt that lives in Lemon Tree and I'm really hoping to one day get over there for a visit!

Hi! I'm right on the edge of Nampa and Meridian in the county with a Meridian address. We also ended up with a surprise rooster out of the chicks we purchased earlier this spring -- so I tried to Google both the City and County ordinance and couldn't find anything specific to chickens or roosters. Then I called Meridian City who told me to call the county...I called the county and they told me to call the city. When I explained the City sent me to them, I was basically told that "well then, I guess as long as neighbors aren't complaining you should be ok"? Clear as mudd, right? :he

Good luck!

You could try the Facebook page farm fresh egg buy and sell its all over but I know there is people from that this area on there. I have some but my hens are just starting to lay and so the eggs are small and I have a rooster so I don't know what that means for keeping them unrefridgerated.
