Idea For Using More Eggs.

Now that the chickens are laying again, I put some of the eggs to good use.



I call it Meatloaf Surprise!

Nice! I read a recipe that used a piece of bread in a way that's almost the same as you did. You cut out a circle in the center of the bread, stick the bread in a pan, crack and pour an egg into the hole, and cook it till it's ready. They taste amazing. Your 'meatloaf surprise' reminded me of that. I might try making your Meatloaf Surprise. It looks good!

I have heard the egg in a piece of bread called many names, Hole in One, Man in the Moon, Egg in a frame, One-eyed Jack, Egg in a hole.
