Where did Mr. Richard come from? Love his name!

He came from a friend's neighbor around Barrie Ontario. He also came with scaley leg mites which took me a bit to identify as I hadn't come across it before. We have been treating my flock of 10 hens. He is the perfect rooster after dealing with my hand raised Barred Rock rooster that started to draw blood on everyone! Goodbye Roger! You were beautiful but turned nasty!

Pretty tough to say. Maybe a Marans cross.
