Meeker, Ok 20+chicken years
I purchased a few with my heavies.
Anyone familiar with these Leghorns:
Is this mottling of feathers typical?

All 6 have this black and brown showing up in the white feathers.

At 2 weeks old....when should I begin seeing gender in comb and wattles.

I've never seen the brown, but I've seen the black flecks.

Keep us posted on the egg color. If they are brown you may have gotten some Hy-line Silver Browns and they are real layers.... or could be a Delaware?

If they are leghorns, you'll know if they are roos this week by looking at the combs....and tails.

I have ideal 236. Mine look just like white leghorns, but have one or two tiny black spots. very good layers.
