I didn't see any review threads for Ideal Hatchery's Assorted Chick (all standard breeds), so figured I would start one. It is always fun to see what surprises people get!
I ordered 25 of the assorted chick straight run. Here is what arrived.
It looks like I got the buff delight box!
8 Appear to be solid buff in coloration, maybe some are light red.
Two of them are a bit softer in color and have lighter beaks. So, perhaps there are two or more breeds here. Time will tell!
3 Buff with head markings.
1 Buff and Black
1 White chick with black stripes
4 Black chicks with brown faces - probably Black Star pullets
3 Solid Blacks
2 small white with black spots - probably California Whites
2 Small Whites - different feet color, so probably two different breeds
2 Whites that are developing black/white feathers
