Do you have any photos of the processed chickens?
I just checked and I do not. It is enough meat to make chicken and dumplings for a few days or one roast chicken for a meal and a half for 2 people. Wing meat wasnt much to speak of. Breast meat was nice. Texture was perfect. "It doesn't taste like lifeless despair like the grocery store chickens!" was the almost-husband's initial comment upon tasting.

I would like to contribute my experience with Ideal Poultry's Black Broilers.

These birds are beautiful. Everyone asks me what they are. I tell them they are black broilers and I get some protests. These birds are gorgeous.

The website for Ideal says they are not a reliable source of eggs. Well. Let's talk about that. They started laying around 15 weeks and I get 1 a day from the hens I decided to not butcher, based solely on egg production. They are out-laying my Ideal236 hens and my welsummer.
.

So how large are the eggs they give you? Extra large eggs might be really nice!!
