Ideal Hatchery Choice Duck Assortment-Breeds?

Hey Y’all!
I️ picked up 6 hatchery choice ducks from a local feed store yesterday. They said that the feeder hatchery is Ideal Poultry. I️ was hoping to get some help with breeds.

1. White Crested (99% sure)

2. Cayuga/Black Runner? (I️ really hope it’s

3. Khaki Campbell/Hybrid

4. Pekin? (She ha

5. Pekin (95% sure)

6. Mallard/Rouen? (This one is super tiny next to the rest, so I’m leaning towards Mallard)

Awesome thanks! For the mallard/Rouen is there any chance I️ can differentiate between the 2 breeds? Same question for the Cayuga/black Runner.

I think Rouens have two stripes across the face, and Mallards have one. I really do think you have a Mallard. Not sure about the Cayuga/Black Runner, sorry.

Ok thanks! I️ let my ducks free range the back yard, so that might be a problem. Guess I’ll have to keep wings clipped!

No, not unless they have a mom and even then I️ always keep them in a separate small pen. I️ currently have them in a rabbit cage with a brooder heater. In a couple weeks I’ll move them outside and eventually they’ll get put in my aviary until I️ can keep them in the shed with the shed with the other birds.
