Picking SQ birds is allways and I repeat allways the buyers responsiblity, if the pet Foo-Foo chicken person say they want SQ birds then goe's shopping at a well know breeders pen's and decides on a few birds if they aren't SQ then that's their fault. You have to know what to look for, you don't just show up and assume. That's my point, I have had the Cutsey toostey folks show up at my farm looking for SQ birds in their minds and they allways pick the worst birds in the pen's, why because they don't have a clue. I am not going to say a word heck after all they are picking my culls and paying for them to boot, if you don't have the eye for a good bird don't blame the breeder that is my point. My reputation as a breeder will never be questioned if this person picks a bad bird because, those who know their birds know quality when they see it, and can pick good birds and be very happy.
