I ordered from MPC this past Spring. The chicks all arrived healthy and alive. They are doing great now, laying well, and have grown nicely. They came from Ohio, so probably Meyer. I have no personal experience with Ideal, but have seen a lot of people happy with them.

MPC ships from either Meyer or Welp, can't recall. They're not a hatchery, per se. Ideal birds are just basic hatchery types, not really up to standard in looks, but they'll lay for you just fine (unless they start keeling over from internal laying when they hit two years old like mine did

) Ideal has been in business for many, many years and seems to have good customer service.

I ordered twice from Ideal and have been happy with the results. ordered 25 each time and lost one out of each order.
