Hello I was wondering if anybody has got any silkies from ideal poultry and would love to see how they turned out as adults. TIA

I can try and get some pictures of the ones I have this year. I know the white silkies I got last year (don't have anymore) were far nicer though.

You'll get bearded and nonbearded though, they run the flocks together.

My main issue this year was that all but one had something up with their back toes (an extra [So 3 back toes], conjoined toes, lacking a toe [so 1 back toe]), but I didn't get white. I got the grey and partridge.

My grey is very small, but she had an accident several weeks ago so it's very possible it was injury related and not genetics because my partridge is a very large silkie.

Well, you can get nice silkies from a hatchery, but if you really want super fluffy ones with nice crests, you should look into getting from a breeder.😉

do you have any suggestions for silkie breeder would love to add more

The first non hatcheries that come to mind are Dunham farm, Northwoods Poultry and Alchemist farm, but I have no experience with any of them so can’t give recommendations on them. I know alchemist have a 2 silkie limit for some reason. Hope you find what you are looking for.
