How can you tell boy from girl chicks

So my 12 Cochins all made it safe, they spent the first few hours warming in our bathroom in a Rubbermaid tub, but they are all doing well in the brooder now.
I got 10 extra peanuts, all but one of them made the trip and they all seem to be doing well also. Anyone have any ideas what these guys might be?

The ones with the prominent stripe and the yellow are the extras.

What kind of combs do they have?

Cool...anyone bought any ee from ideal? What color eggs do they produce

I have an EE Roo and 3 EE hens from Ideal. Ordered last May. Took 6 months to tell him apart from the hens. The blue green egg is from one of my EE.

I couldnt tell the sex for sure until they were 6 weeks. Helps to have a bunch of the same breed to distinguish rooster qualities. One of my red cochins i swore was a rooster ended up being a female, which we kept. We sold the rest of the chicks and kept one female of each color.

I ordered a week ago for a 1/29 ship date (today) ...they updated their facebook page after posting some last minute specials to say they were sold out. It's almost 7pm here and I have yet to receive a shipment confirmation....

Ruh-oh...did I get lost in the shuffle...?

And I received a confirmation email after ordering/ paying, but nothing since then.

How is the weather between where you live and the location of the hatchery?

Our weather is the same as it is at the hatchery, maybe a *touch* warmer (3 degrees? lol) we're about 2/3 hours away from each other. I know they're shipping, too.

(Yes, Yes, I could've driven to pick up the peepers - but I have 3 little ones under the age of 3 and a road trip was not an option at the moment.)

I even called my PO to give them a heads up, but I'm thinking it was in vain and I have fallen through the cracks =/

We also have a shipment due to arrive today but didn't get an e-mail. So I called yesterday at around 4:30 and said it had been shipped I will let you know what happens today.

PO just called (6:45 am ) and they're here!

My DH just went to pick them up...fingers crossed he doesn't bring home a box of sadness.

Edit: everyone is out, introduced to food / water and peeping up a storm. 2 DOAs ..a broiler packing peanut and an Australorp, I believe.

Oops, forgot to add. Supposed to be 3 buff orps, 3 australorps, 3 EE and 3 barred rocks....I've counted like 14 (not including the DOAs) but I'm not entirely sure who is who...lol

We got ours this morning also. 10 buff Orpingtons , 5 gold laced Wyandottes and 5 EE's and 4 packing peanuts all in great shape eating and drinking.
