My replacement order came yesterday. These chick's are much more active than the first batch. I think it may have something to do with the packing peanuts they sent.
The remainder of the first batch seem to be doing fine except for 1. A month old and still has only chick fluff and about 1/2 the size of the others.

In March I went to TSC and bought 12 GLW's, and I ended up with 11 roos which I ended up giving away 10. I Just placed my first order with ideal, 4 Dominique pullets, 3 Buff Orpington pullets, 2 Ameraucana pullets, and 1 Dominique roo. Will let you all know how it turns out, tentative ship date is 8/7/13.

I'm looking for a little help IDing this one. Her name is Legs, they are even longer then they look in the picture. I got this order in from Ideal almost 12 weeks ago. This chick was sent as an EE. If anyone from Ideal could weigh in that would be great, but anyone is welcome to share their thoughts.

Several of the chicks in this order got wet during a storm when they were about 2 weeks old. I lost 2, and Legs was one of those who survived. Although several chicks who were caught in the storm survived, she is the only one with an extremely long neck and legs, and with almost no Feather growth.

well my girls are 5 days old today and I could not be happier, everyone is happy and healthy and growing like a weed! I only live two hours from IDEAL and so the shipping was super fast! about 8 hours from the time they emailed me that they were shipping I was on the way to the post office~

I had one packing peanut, and I am hoping he turns out to be a roo to go with my beautiful girls!

My chicks shipped 8/6 a day earlier than expected, got a call from the post office around 6 am this morning and went and picked them up. I ordered 10 chicks, however 15 chirping, healthy, vibrant chicks greeted me. Males were added in to keep my 9 girls and 1 boy warm through their ride from Texas to Ohio. Ideal is a fantastic company, and one of the most reasonable companies I have seen when it comes to shipping quality birds. I won't use any other company from now on
