Ideal Poultry

I want to order chicks from Ideal Poultry. So who has ordered chicks from them and are they a reliable chick hatchery. I plan on buying some Milli Fleur D'uccle Bantams.

They have been in business many years and are reliable. You should understand that (like all hatcheries) they sell hatchery quality, which is not the same thing as breeder quality, though. There is nothing wrong with hatchery chickens, that's what I have, but they are not necessarily bred to win shows or be true to their breed.

They are a wonderful hatchery. I buy meat birds from them twice a year. They have great customer service. I have never bought Bantams, but I agree they will be hatchery birds but it gives you a starting point to work from.
