Has anyone purchased D'uccles from Ideal poultry and have them look nice. If so can you identify the color and possibly post a picture.

Anyone??

I've got a couple that I bought a couple of years ago-a mille fleur roo and a self blue roo. They're really not bad at all for hatchery birds.

I did I have a trio. of mille. they havent went throught their frist molt yet. so I'm waiting to see what their colors are going to do.

I just ordered from them this week for the bantam special and paid a little extra to get only d'uccles. I ordered 25. Half Mille and Half porcelain. I'd also like to see some pictures to know what to expect. Someone from nearby is splitting the order with me. Still it will be interesting raising chicks in the garage (icky) but you can't beat the price ($1.24 each). At the feed store I'd pay $4 per chick for bantams. So for 25 d'uccles and shipping, and Mareks vaccine, my total was only $42 approx.
