IDEAL Question

I recieved an email on Sunday saying that my order would ship on 2/15/10 (that is today!) and that I would recieve another notification once it has been sent. Well, it is 9 o'clock and I still haven't gotten anything saying it was sent. So should I assume it wasn't sent due to the holiday or whatever reason, or assume that it was sent and be ready for a possible phone call in the morning?

You can call or email them to confirm if they were shipped or not. They have a great customer service department. Have your invoice/order number ready.

I did my order over the phone last wednesday I think it was and they said they would ship them out this wednesday and would email information as I do not have a order number should I call them tomorrow?

Um...isn't today President's Day? I don't think they could have possibly shipped today. I'd definitely call in the morning and find out for sure when they were shipping.

It's too late to call them tonight? If I dont either hear from the PO or get an email from them in the morning, I will call them.

I would call them tonight. It would not hurt. Usually there is someone at the PO even on holidays. If they don't answer, I would call first thing in the morning though. (Like 5 am even!)

I would assume they DID ship today, even though it's Presidents Day. Someone else posted that their chicks were going to ship today regardless of the holiday. I hope you get your chicks bright and early tomorrow! When I ordered from Ideal last year, the Post Office called me at 7:30 am the next morning to tell me my chicks were here

I did try calling the post office this morning. There was no answer since there was no one at the local branch. I do know that they can ship even on Holidays... just cuz the actual offices are closed the mail is still in transit. I'll try calling the PO again when I get the kids up for school at 6, then keep trying every half hour until I get someone. If the PO doesn't have them in the morning, I will call Ideal to make sure that they really did ship.

BUT.... in the meantime, I guess I better get the last minute brooder details taken care of and not wait until I get that email from Ideal.

Oh and the baby bunnies are due tomorrow night... I hate waiting! LOL

I think they usually ship on a Wednesday

ETA Just checked their shipping/hatch dates, and this week it is 17/2 (Wednesday)
