IDEAL Question

I sent an email last night to Ideal asking about hte shipment. I spoke to Ideal today and my babies did ship yesterday. She said they were having a problem with the automated system sending out the second emails verifying shipments. But later I did get an email letting me know that YES, my chicks were shipped and should be recieved at my PO on Wednesday morning. I've also spoken to my local PO and the distribution center. Hopefully I will be getting my call between 630 and 730 in the morning!

I had some come in at 4.30am once... and they took me at my word to call me when they arrived!

Yeah, I told them to call me when they come in. The PO doesnt get their truck until between 630 and 7, so I think I can actually try to sleep tonight (When I am not checking on my pregnant rabbit)

I got them this morning! They were peepling loud enough I could hear them coming all the way down the hall at the post office! When I got them home, I was nervous and excited about opening the box. I knew I either had a whole lot of live chicks or at least a few REALLY loud ones. 31 bantam babies!!!!! Ideal sent 6 extra. All alive, although there were 3 chicks that looked pretty weak.

Of those 3, all drank when I dipped their beaks.... one waddled straight over to the heat and the other 2 sat there. Then one of those found the grogel stuff. After that it seemed to perk up. There is still one that is just sitting there. It hasnt' made any attempt to drink anymore, or eat, or find the heat. So I dipped it's beak again and moved it over to the heat. I hope it survives.
