about how much does ideal charge for shipping(yes, im assuming it depends on location and stuff, but im looking for an estimate) Im looking to get 14-16 chicks

According to their website, each chick has a air postal charge of 12 cents each, if you order under 100, an additional 7 dollar handling fee, and a 1 dollar fee per breed under 25 chicks. You can check their shipping info page and figure out if you need to pay the postal charge or not.

Example: I ordered:

3 varieties of brahma pullets = $3 ($1 for ea. variety)
plus one cockerel $1 ($1 different sex)
plus one JG $1 ($1 diff. breed)


Plus one $7 charge for ordering less than a 1/4 box, for a total shipping charge of $12

I don't have to pay an air shipping charge because I live in one of the Arkansas zip codes listed.
