Ideal's Assorted Standard Chicks

Has anyone ordered this assortment before? Did you get a good variety of breeds, and what breeds did you get? I'm thinking of ordering from them, and curious what comes with it!

I'll second this question. Was looking at their special and thinking that the hens that are laying right now might be the best winter layers -- except that they probably have all their birds under lights, and I don't provide light to mine.

I've got the assortment before to raise for a little extra feed money and I got mostly Barred Rocks with some Golden Comets, White Rocks, and Silver Laced Wyandottes in a 25 chick order.

sometime you get a good assortment sometime you don't it all depends on what they have left. and what hatches well that day.

I got the Dec assortment. I believe I have astralorps, the ideal 236 or what ever it is (leghorn cross), RIR or something like it and a bunch of EE.
