hey everyone,
I am brand new to keeping chickens. I got my first girls about a month ago. 3 barred rocks and three buff orphingtons. They are currently housed in a 4x4 coop with a 9 foot attached run. I am looking to keep the food and water inside the coop for the time being to help coax the girls back in to roost at night.

does anyone have any pics or ideas for a small no mess feeder and/ or waterer setup for inside the coop.

Thanks.

I would read the "DIY 25# No Waste Feeder" thread. I made one out of a square 4 gallon and love it. Takes up about 1sq foot of floor space.

Most of the feeders and drinkers I make are specifically designed for small flocks / spaces. If you want to make one yourself, the square kitty litter buckets are really nice to use with horizontal nipples for the drinkers and 90 degree modified street pvc elbows for the feeders. They won't take up much room at all.

Here are some photo examples for you. It's not too difficult to make something yourself. .
