My birthday was early this month, but since I was on the sofa with a fever and we were really busy for almost the entire month, any celebrations have been postponed.

But now I'm finally getting around to planning a movie night for 5-10 other teenagers.

Does anybody have any ideas for a good movie we could all watch? The age range is 14-18, and all of their families have strict rules when it comes to media: Minimal swearing, if any, no obvious gore, no adult scenes, etc, etc.
To give you an idea of what I've been considering, this is what I've come up with so far.

Independence Day

The Young Sherlock Holmes

The Slipper and the Rose- This one only if I decide not to invite the boys.

Freaky Friday

The Princess Diaries- Again, only if I don't invite boys.

Thank you!

Whatever you do don't do chick flicks unless you're really really into them. I've found comedies and/or corny movies are much more entertaining.

Does that mean While You Were Sleeping is out?

I thought it would be fun to make the boys watch that.

Admittedly, I think it would be hilarious to make them watch one.

I could totally send out the invitations, and write that we were watching Independence Day or some other "normal" movie that would appeal to guys, but call all the girls ahead of time and let them know what was going on. >: D
Of course, we all know that if I baked cookies they would stay.
