Ideas for a teenager movie night

Only girls: Mirrormask
M&F: Last of the Mohicans (might have to get dispensation re: violence - though I imagined much worse as an 8-10yr. old, as I read all of Cooper's Leatherstocking tales).
The African Queen (sure it's `old' but it is a good adventure tale with strong female lead).

Have you seen any of the Pirates of The carribean movies? I love them and so does my 8 year old brother! I think they say 1 cuss word in the whole movie and they are wispering so It took me like the 175th time watching it to even notice and its just the D word! Now I would not recemend the last one as much as the other ones I like #2 the most!

Happy-Hens

Vampires Suck is a really funny movie. I too hate twilight and laughed my butt off when I saw this movie. The plot is exactly the same, but it makes fun of the acting, and odd things (sparkling) You could probably do a series of all of the spoofs (disaster movie, superhero movie, epic movie, etc) they are all rated PG-13, but I have not seen then in a while so I'm not positive on how much swearing is in them. If you Google spoof movie list blockbuster shows all of them.

Star Wars? The OT, NOT the prequels!

I like Independence Day, but they do swear quite a bit, so keep the volume down.

I personally don't like chick flicks at all, but if you are having a girls-only night, they might like one. I never watch them so Idk.

The Princess Bride

I know it sounds like a girls only movie, but my 34 year old husband and both of my sons think it is hilarious. It really is so corny that anyone can laugh at it!

Double feature; Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs.
Run that by the parents first...

The remake of True Grit is excellent. O Brother, Where Art Thou is also good. The Kings Speech. Million Dollar Baby.
