I think the pen was 8'x4' and the coop was 2'x4'. As is it would be good for a trio or maybe quad of LF, though I was planning on building it as a broody house/pen. What I really liked about the original design is how well it seemed to use materials. Not much cutting for the pen part, and I think you can do the 2'x4' coop out of one sheet of siding. The roof is hinged so that you can access the coop.
I don't think they did it in the original, but I'm going to try to put a pull-out pan in the bottom of the coop so I can clean it without hanging upside down. I also plan to staple a 2-3' apron of wire on the bottom to keep the diggers out when I build mine.
ETA: I think the bottom boards of the run are 10' which leaves 8' of length for the run after the 2' offset for the coop. It would be easy to use 12' instead to give 40 square' of run instead of 32 square'.
