Hi all - I could really use some input:
My father and I made this great 8x8 enclosure for the chickens to have extended space but we are running into the classic problem where we left the hardest part for last and now are a bit stuck. I have an A frame coop/run and we want to securely and safely connect it so they have access to the 8x8 run extension. For now we have a piece of plywood up and are thinking of somehow cutting a triangle in it to then push the Aframe up flush to it and use hardware close to enclose the connection but I do want to be able to separate them a few times a year for a deep clean.

Any thoughts/ideas/has anyone else ever run into this?!

If you want to be able to separate them once in a while, maybe do a secure pop door on both the old run and the new, and connect them with a hardware cloth tunnel. Then you can shut the chickens in either side, depending on your need.

I’m intrigued!!! What do you mean by a secure pop door. Like a pull up sort of thing?
