This bator only has 2 small windows which make it almost impossible to even see the thermometers, much less what is going on inside. Add to that my almost impossible curiosity and I can't keep my hands from opening it. I need some way to transform it into a clear top. I was thinking if I cut out the top and placed a piece of plexiglass in it? I would have to figure out how to reattach the heater tho....could I do that with a super heavyduty glue or would the toxicity of the glue kill the eggs?

    Any suggestions welcome.

with super glue the problem is that they contain solvents which will eat into the styrofoam. I got the hum/tem combo in the bator and got another 1-2 thermometers threaded though the vent holes on the top of the bator. I also keep a flaslight by the bator so i can shine in ther when curiosity kills me.

They make glue just for styrofoam that won't melt it.
