I'm a bit late to this thread - have been searching for some info on "Gypsy Face" and old threads came upOkay. I did not know that! I have had black hens before her and currently do have others. But I did not realize the face could be black without more exotic bloodlines.
Or potentially Birchen Marans. Not sure what's more common in the UK but I have been seeing quite a few gypsy-faced Marans in the US. More likely still, I think that Norfolk Grey is what she is. Many pictures online have gypsy faces and apparently when breeding for the dark eyes of this breed, gypsy faces can result.She could be a silver sussex with gypsy face.
