Ideas on this hen's breed?

Looks slightly similar to mine who I’m unsure of

Okay. I did not know that! I have had black hens before her and currently do have others. But I did not realize the face could be black without more exotic bloodlines.
I'm a bit late to this thread - have been searching for some info on "Gypsy Face" and old threads came up :)

IN respect to the part of your conversation re: dark faces. I have project birds that have known heritage - Sebright and Pekin only - which are not Fibro.
This seasons babies have very dark faces with almost black combs - rather lovely imho!

She could be a silver sussex with gypsy face.
Or potentially Birchen Marans. Not sure what's more common in the UK but I have been seeing quite a few gypsy-faced Marans in the US. More likely still, I think that Norfolk Grey is what she is. Many pictures online have gypsy faces and apparently when breeding for the dark eyes of this breed, gypsy faces can result.

I thought leg color was off for marans, but it’s hard to tell.
