Our coop is a repurposed shed. The biggest plus is that it's a walk-in. Easy to clean and get out of the weather while doing chicken chores. Plenty of room for storage. Go larger than you think you need!

Another thing I really like, is having a automatic popdoor. Set to a timer, it opens/closes automatically.
