I have 3 chickens I am hoping somebody on here can help me identify.

This first hen I got from a nearby farm. The guy I got her from said she was a Columbian, i'm assuming he meant columbian rock, but after looking at her, I'm thinking she may be a Delaware.

The next two are pullets I let my kids pick out at the feed store. They picked them out when I was talking to an employee and I never got to see what the signs on the cages said. They are 6 weeks old.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was going to guess RIR, and my Grandfather and I were thinking possibly a Golden Comet for the middle picture, but I'm just guessing.

Thank you very much. Little disappointed in the hen not being a Delaware, was really hoping for one, but she's one of the friendliest birds we have and a great layer, so I'm not too disappointed.

Thanks for all the help.

not a delaware because she doesn't have the barring in the tail or hackles. Delaware color is columbian (that's the term for white body, black tail and neck) plus barring- same thing as on barred rock. Except you can't see the barring on white feathers...

You can see why Kev is a BYC educator. Exactly my reason for saying Colombian Rock.
