This rhode island red seems to look a bit different from our other. It also seems to be alpha of the flock. Do you think this is a rooster? And any guesses on the breed this chic may b

Looks like you have two RIR, a black silkie, and some type of easter egger mix. Both your red chickens look RIR to me, and are both hens. The one with the bigger comb is just maturing faster than the other - she will be ready to lay very soon. Chickens that are laying think they are the bees knees and are better than chickens who are not laying. They will bully the not laying chickens. Then eventually everyone is laying, but there will still be some bullying, as that's the nature of chickens.

I can't tell sex on your silkie. For the EE mix, how old is it? Looks like she's female and might lay in the next month or so, since she's starting to pink up.

Thank you! I value any input into this flock. I believe the silkie is a rooster. He made the sound one time lol. The mystery chicken is about 2 months old. I haven't been able to put him permanently with the flock bc the larger rir really bullys him badly. To the point he bleeds. I was thinking he was a favrolle. Can't remember what the tag said at time of purchase.

Might be a faverolles mix, but not a purebred Faverolles, for certain. Brahmas and Faverolles have feathered feet. Faverolles and silkies have 5 toes. Brahmas and easter eggers and a number of other breeds have pea comb, which your chicken has.

Your bird with feathered feet - I still think it's female - we don't see any male specific feathering, but the comb is a bit on the red side for an 8 wk female. By 15 wks male specific feathering should show up - saddle feathers are unmistakable. If none by then, it's a good bet it's female. It's very much smaller than your RIRs, so bullying is expected.
