Identifing a chicken

Hello Every one, I am new to this forum , About a week a go a chicken came to our land . Now it hangs around our chicken yard. I can get close to it and it will come up close to me while I am working . This chicken is gray , it has gray legs and beak , it has a brite red crown ( like a rooster ) towards the front of its head and has a dark tuff on the back of its head. This chicken does not have any spurs, I think it is a hen .?? I would like to know what it is . If anyone has knowledge of such a bird ,please let me know Thank you ,greggd
