Identify "colored egg layer" chicks from Hoovers

My Prairie Bluebell has a single comb. Perhaps she got in the wrong bin and she’s something different. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t know how comb genetics work, but with a leghorn parent, maybe it’s possible. I just hope she’s a she and she lays blue eggs! 9 weeks old today so I’ll find out in a few months. 🥰

Good luck figuring out who is what hybrid! I’d guess you may have to wait for egg color to further narrow it down.
For your sake, I was voting for "got into the wrong bin and is possibly still a girl of some other breed", but Overo Mare would know.

At nine weeks old, you have a cockerel.
I agree. Full body shots would help but this chick also seems to have a bit of a bizarre color for a Prarie Bluebell. It still could totally be one since they're a mixed breed but since his gender is was already mislabeled, I wonder if breed is too
