identify my rooster please

    Got a rooster today but I don't know what he is. If anyone knows what he is I would appreciate the knowledge.

    He's a chicken. Possibly an "Easter Egger" but not a real breed.

    Probably an Easter egger rooster, that's what hatcheries sell as Aracaunas or Ameraucanas. He likely has the genes to lay green or blue eggs, so his female offspring may also. Easter eggers often have dark legs, beards/muffs and pea combs, but they aren't really a breed so they don't "have" to have any/all of those characteristics. Basically, they're blue or green egg laying mutts. I love them!
