Hello Everyone,

Can somebody help me to identify this quail breed please..... i buy them from market.... the shopkeeper even dont know the breed. Im sure its not japanese quail.... but which breed is this??????

Welcome to Backyard chickens. I don't know anything about quail but, yours are very pretty. If you go to "Other Backyard Poultry," forum above, you will find threads written about quail. The people there should be able to answer your questions.

Welcome to BackYard Chickens! @drumstick diva is right, they are lovely birds.

I don't know much about quails, but I searched online a bit and found this website with pictures of quail breeds and their names.
http://www.beautyofbirds.com/quailphotos.html Maybe you'll find one one there that is a match.

Here on the forums there's a page about quail breeds I found and one called Bob white has females that are snowflake colored, they call them. https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/quail-breeds-and-how-to-pick-the-right-bird-for-you They look close to yours to me. The photo in the link is of males but if you search "snowflake bob white quail" on images.google.com females show up that look close to yours.

Also typing quail into the search here on this website will bring up a lot of threads about quail and people that will know more, too.
