Officially 3 weeks old today! Torchic (the yellow one) is definitely more into the photos than Ziggy.

My son said Ziggy (the black one) came from a pink egg. His class got the eggs from a local university’s 4H club.If the black one hatched out of a blue egg, it is probably an Easter Egger as well. Where did you get them? They could just be Barnyard Mixes if they aren’t from a feed store or hatchery.
Torchic (the yellow one) came from a “big white egg according to my son. His class hatched the eggs in their science class. They received the eggs from a local university’s 4H club.Yellow one still looks like an Easter Egger, and the black one might be some sort of game mix. Both look pullet-ish so far!

Which is totally fine! We’ve been searching and trying to see what they look like, which has been a lot of fun. Our kids have enjoyed looking up different breeds and seeing if our chicks have similar traits and whatnot. They may just be mixes.
Thank you! I’ll continue to post updates and ask as we’re new to chick ownership.Oh, those are lovely chicks! I would say that they're mixes but once they feather out more, you might get a better idea of what they're mixed with!
