I have two hens that look the same with varying degrees of red feathers. Does anyone know what they are? They are approx 16 weeks old.

Mixed breed hen; she could be a Black Sex Link but I'm not seeing much reddish or copper colored feathers around the neck, so if she's a BSL, she's not a typical RIR roo X BPR hen BSL.

Thank you both. I will try for a better picture as well as a picture of the other one. I also have a white one and a rooster I'd like to have an idea of what they are so I can figure out what to expect.
I'm good with having mixed breeds or chicken "mutts"!

Nothing wrong with mixed breeds unless you are wanting to enter your chickens in a poultry show.) The best brown egg layers in the world (Black and Red Sex Links) are mixed breeds.
