i am wondering where you get fake eggs at so the chickens will not just use the one nesting box jw

You can use golf balls as 'fake eggs.' It may or may not result in your chickens using the other nest boxes. We reduced our flock to just 7 hens (from 50) and they have their choice of 8 nest boxes. They ALL use the same one or two ... though which one sometimes changes. Even when we had 50, not all the boxes got used.

Not sure where to get fake ones unless you want easter eggs (just don't let the kids find em lol) but i have heard golf balls can work too.

I would just use some plastic Easter eggs. If you don't have any of those around, the golf ball solution is good, and a ping pong ball would probably also work.

Wooden Eggs: Craft stores
Plastic eggs: Stores, Grandma's basement, resale shops, garage sales.
