Idk what I'm doing.

Today hubby and I got a baby pool and lined it with the wire. Found 3 of them trying to escape the Tupperware. They seem happy able to spread their wings and have some space. But I'm worried that it's too big and there is too much of a heat difference from one side to another.

It is much better to have a big space for the chicks then a small one. Dont worry about one side being cold and the other hot that is ideal as they will regulate their temperature by moving in and out of the hot and cold zones.

I think if I can raise children I can handle chickens. We all had to learn at some point. I will take all the advice I can right now.
Aw, when I first started I would get so frustrated and sometimes sad on this site bc people would make me feel so stupid!

You’re ABSOLUTELY right we all start somewhere!! For me, I can read for years but I learn best doing!

Chickens aren’t rocket science and I agree, you e raised kids, you can raise chickens! I have both right now and it’s just a lot of common sense! I’m sure you’ve already got a bigger container, we have a kiddie pool! When they’re feathered, outside they go! We handle ours a lot so they’re friendly and ours thrive

You’re going to do AMAZING! They’re lucky to have you! Asking for help is proof! here if you need anything!!
