Idle rumination about buying PopTarts from a smoke shop

I used to live 4 blocks from a 7-11 convenience store. I would, every morning, on my way to work, buy a cup of coffee, for the trip.
There was a package of Oscar Mayer Turkey Bologna, in the fridge, that had turned a delightful shade of Kelly green. It sat there, on the shelf, for 2 years. It got to the point that I thought of it as another pet; just lived at 7-11.

Perhaps a Bologna and Pop Tart meal?

Imp- I think I deserve recognition for the excessive use of commas in this post.

I do this with Grapenuts. Every few years, I get a hankering for them...I see a commercial for them or something, and I start craving them. I go out and buy a box and then get them home and pour a bowl...Eeeeeeeww.

Not as good as I was hoping for. But I've done this atleast half a dozen times.

Uhoh...now I'm thinking maybe I should give them just one more chance..

Years ago I had a recipe for grapenuts cooked in a very sweet lemony custard. It was yummy.
If you google grapenut puff recipe there are some, but I don't remember the recipe well enough to know if it's the same.
