If a chicken or a duck ate copper would it be bad?

If chickens had access to copper ( not for them but they would have access to it) Would it be bad?

How do you mean, "access to copper"? Do you mean the chickens are sharing space with your storage in a shed, where you keep copper pipe and household wiring, or you have a bottle full of copper sulfate for your pool, and there is sometimes a bit of residue on the outside, or???

I'm thinking about housing chickens with goats that I may give free choice copper.

I have the same question - I was just giving copper to my goats in little grain ball cookies - what would happen if the chickens ate any of the copper? ( they didn’t but I am wondering)

as it turns out, my chickens *largely* avoid my goat mineral - they did try it (like they try everything) and pretty quickly decided it wasn't for them.
