If chickens had access to copper ( not for them but they would have access to it) Would it be bad?

Possibly a goat/sheep copper supplement? Free choice copper for goats? Is it ok?How do you mean, "access to copper"? Do you mean the chickens are sharing space with your storage in a shed, where you keep copper pipe and household wiring, or you have a bottle full of copper sulfate for your pool, and there is sometimes a bit of residue on the outside, or???

I'm thinking about housing chickens with goats that I may give free choice copper. How do you mean, "access to copper"? I have the same question - I was just giving copper to my goats in little grain ball cookies - what would happen if the chickens ate any of the copper? ( they didn’t but I am wondering)Possibly a goat/sheep copper supplement? Free choice copper for goats? Is it ok?
